After 12 years of community yoga, Rubber Soul is expanding while maintaining our mission to provide yoga for all.
Cal Clements founded Rubber Soul Yoga in 2006 and for 12 years the studio served the Athens-Clarke County community. In November 2018, Rubber Soul closed it's doors for what was thought to be the last time. But thanks to our new owner Kate Stahl and new studio managers Ginny Baumgartner and Nicole Bechill, Rubber Soul will keeps its doors open, providing donation based yoga to the community.
“We plan to continue the donation-based model, as well as bring a community together around yoga and related things.” - Kate Stahl
We will maintain our tradition of providing donation-based yoga and we will be partnering with Chase Brantley and the Moonlight Theater Company to provide performance art to the community.
Rubber Soul will reopen it's doors in January 2019, with familiar teachers returning to the schedule. Stay tuned as we post our schedule and information on the website and social media about the studio. And continue to check out our blog featuring new announcements, reminders, and posts written by special guests!
